Programs
Our programs have included regionally and nationally known quilters who share their quilts, processes, and other aspects of their quilting adventures with our Guild. We occasionally have members of our Guild present new techniques and knowledge gained from classes and travels.
Lastly, we also have held workshops taught by our speakers or our members. There is a $5 charge for non-members when we have an invited speaker presentation.
Where and When We Meet
Guild meetings are held at the Benton County Historical Museum located at 1101 Main Street in Philomath. Generally, meetings take place on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning at 7:00pm (social time begins at 6:30pm).

Quilts in the Garden
Quilts in the Garden is the premier event put on by the Guild for our community. This event takes place every 3 years. On Saturday, June 20, 2026 we will have a lovely tour of beautiful gardens in the area around the Corvalls Country Club and Brooklane Drive. In past years we have had over 600 participants and up to 300 quilts.
This year's Quilts in the Garden will be co-sponsored by the Corvallis Modern Quilt Guild. Garden selections have been a collaborative effort with the Corvallis Evening Garden Club.

Round Robin
Round Robin quilts are fun to work on and provide plenty of opportunities to get to know other Guild members. Each participant starts a quilt and chooses preferred colors, then passes the quilt to another member who creates the next "round" until a finished quilt is returned to each participant. These quilts are presented to the rest of the Guild at one of our meetings.
Quilting Friends (formerly Secret Sisters)
Quilting Friends is a social group that meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month. They plan various gatherings and activities to encourage fellowship and fun. Contact Mary Lou McLocklin if you are interested in participating.
Challenge Quilts
The Guild offers an opportunity to stretch the boundaries of our members in creating a quilt or quilted object that is presented at our Challenge Meeting. Challenges are wide-ranging and inevitably push members to their limits in creating their quilts or creating a story about why their quilt did not get done in the 1-year time frame that they were allotted.
